Graminex LLC, a U.S. company known for its non-solvent rye grass flower pollen extract, opened its Korean branch Thursday, appointing Frank Sun-ho Kim as managing director.

“I am pleased to be working with Graminex® in regards to the expanding its offices in Korea and increasing awareness of the clinically proven health benefits of Graminex Flower Pollen Extracts,” Kim said.

The Michigan-based company owns and manages more than 8,500 acres of farmland in Ohio to produce active raw ingredients for the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food and skin care industries.

The company’s pollen extracts contain fat and water soluble fractions. It has been used to manage prostatitis and benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) symptoms in Europe for over 35 years.

Graminex currently sells its products in more than 40 countries.
