Jeil Pharmaceuticals said Monday that it has signed an investment cooperation agreement with Endovision, an invasive medical device and biopharmaceutical development company, to promote the development of future medical devices.

Under the agreement, the two companies will develop various medical devices, including equipment required for the new endoscopic surgery technique developed by Endovision, a cervix protection device after cone resection, an apparatus that does not require artificial intestines after colorectal cancer surgery and dressing improvement products for glycosuria foot patients.

The companies will also develop innovative and differentiated medical devices selected by the Center for Advanced Technology Research in 2017.

Currently, Jeil Pharmaceutical 제일제약 is cooperating with Endovision 엔도비전 on functional biomaterials, including hemostatic and wound-healing dressing products. The company will also have domestic sale rights of Endovision products.
