SNUH's Medical Research Collaborating Center, (MRRC) which supports infrastructure for large-scale, international clinical trials, will use Medidata Rave, the cornerstone of Medidata Clinical Cloud, to comprehensively gather and maintain clinical trial data, the company said.

“We will lead innovation in the field of life research and strengthen our clinical research capacity with this solution,” said Kang Hyun-jae, director of the Medical Research Collaborating Center.

Medidata Rave will strengthen statistical analysis competencies and manage data while adhering to global clinical regulation standards such as those of the FDA and SDTM, the company said.

The Medidata Clinical Cloud solution will also strengthen execution of clinical trials, it added.

“We are pleased that SNUH's Medical Research Collaborating Center, the leading innovator in biomedical research, has strengthened its clinical competence with Medidata’s advanced technology,” said Edwin Ng, general manager of Medidata's Asia-Pacific region. “Effective management and collection of clinical data are not only beneficial to meeting clinical standards but is also an integral part of accelerating drug development.”
