Green Cross said Tuesday it changed the company name to GC Pharma during their kick-off meeting for 2018 at the company’s headquarters in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
GC is the English initials of the existing Green Cross. The new name stands for great commitment, great challenge, and great company, and signifies that the company will become a great company with great dedication and challenge, it said.
The company plans to apply the new company name to Green Cross Holdings and its affiliated companies. During the year-opening meeting, the company also revealed the new logo.
“The change in the name of the company is intended to reaffirm the determination to become a global company,” said Huh Il-sup, CEO and chairman of GC. “The new name represents the company’s goals to observe its fundamentals while leaping forward.”
