The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety released Tuesday a list of 10 substances on its temporary narcotics list.

The new substances on the list include two arylaminopiperidine class substance -- 4-FIBF and THF-F – and eight phenethylamine class substance -- 4-EA-NBOMe, 25B-NBOH, t-BOC-methamphetamine, t-BOC-3,4-MDMA, 2C-TFM, 4-Fluoromethylphenidate, 3F-phenetrazine and 2-Fluorodeschloroketamine.

The ministry’s temporary narcotics list is active for three years. During that time, the substance is considered a narcotic drug and the ministry can also decide to re-categorize the drug as a narcotic after a prior warning.

After the designation of temporary narcotics, the possession, use, management, import and export, manufacture, sales of the substance is illegal.

Those who want to handle the substance for work-related use need to receive the ministry’s prior approval.
