Seoul National University Hospital said last Friday that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with China’s HongCi Healthcare Group.

Under the contract, SNUH plans to transfer its advanced medical technology and provide training for local medical professionals at Tangshan Central Hospital and Tangshan HongCi Hospital, a subsidiary of the HongCi Healthcare Group.

“The partnership will give us a good opportunity to learn the excellent work capacity of Seoul National University Hospital in areas such as cancer treatment, obstetrics, pediatrics, HIS, and health screening,” HongCi Healthcare Group CEO Li Shuguang said.

SNUH also welcomed the strategic partnership.

“Our hospital believes that the accord is an opportunity to provide advanced medical services such as minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery to Chinese patients,” said Lee Kwang-woong, vice president for global planning and development at the hospital. “We will make more meaningful cooperation through concrete discussions.”
