KLAS, a health IT research firm, has ranked EZCareTech, a local medical IT service provider, as the sixth company with the most contracted number of beds outside of the U.S. after analyzing hospital electronic medical record (EMR) contracts signed in 2017.

“The company has once again confirmed its outstanding capabilities by aligning itself with the world's leading EMR companies,” EZCareTech wrote in its press release. “Although the survey only includes EMR companies outside of the U.S., EZCareTech has also been actively conducting business in the U.S. for almost two years.”

EZCareTech’s new projects include a $5-million contract to establish BESTCare 2.0, a Korean hospital information system, at the Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC) in Dubai and a 24-billion won ($20 million) contract with Aurora Behavioral Healthcare Group in the U.S. to build the system in the group’s 14 hospitals.

The Korean company has also completed installing its system at hospitals such as Ewha Womans University Medical Center, Gachon University Gil Medical Center and Aurora Behavioral Healthcare Group’s Reno Psychiatric Hospital.

“EZCareTech's reputation continues to grow overseas,” EZCareTech CEO Wee Won-ryang said. “As the business prospects of the company are bright, we expect that the company will receive additional spotlight from foreign media.”
