The fair, organized by the Korean Hospital Association (KHA), is an annual B2B medical industry exhibition and conferences with the participation of about 400 medical and pharmaceutical companies.

GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, Samsung Medison, Canon Medical, JW Medical, and DK Medical are among the firms that will be exhibiting their products at the fair.

The three-day event showcases devices from 16 fields, including medical equipment, infection prevention equipment, medical supplies and IT medical information system. It also will hold about 150 lectures related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and hospital information technology, smart clinic, hospital promotion, and medical information.

Government ministries and agencies, such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Health Insurance Review and Assessment, and National Evidence-based healthcare Collaborating Agency, will run a joint consultation center through corporate counseling booths.

"This year's hosting of the K-Hospital fair is meaningful as it marks the 60th anniversary of our association," KHA President Im Young-jin said. "The conference has continuously obtained certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy as an international exhibition and is recognized as a global exhibition."

KHA will lead the promotion of the world-class local hospital medical industry and the vitalization of its global advancement through the event, Im added.
