Seoul Pharmaceutical said that it would export $4.9 million worth of its orally disintegrating film (ODF) for treating erectile dysfunction to Ryders International, a Taiwanese pharmaceutical firm, for the next five-years.

The company plans to export three products -- Sildenafil 50mg and 100mg, and Tadalafil 20 mg.
“The export contract is meaningful in that it is part of the company’s efforts to accelerate its presence in the Asian market,” a company official said. “Other efforts include the recent export of Aliden Suspension to Mongolia in April and the sales approval of Sildenafil in Indonesia last month.”
The recent expansion was made possible due to the company’s smart film manufacturing technology, which has excellent stability and reduces the bitter taste of the drug, he added.
