JW Pharmaceutical said that it has launched Hyalanse, a long-lasting hyaluronic acid filler, in the local market.

Hyalanse is a product that maximizes the viscosity and elasticity of the hyaluronic acid through a three-step micro-bead monophasic technology and makes it easy to make the desired shape and improves the persistence, the company said.

JW said that the product has a stable molecular structure and has a high volume of hydrophilicity, which is a property that easily bonds with moisture, adding that the product has a good volume effect even in small capacities.

The company stressed that unlike semi-permanent fillers, which are difficult to remove components, the company’s product could be melted through hyaluronidase, making it is safe with fewer side effects.

"Hyalanse is a bio-friendly product that improves the disadvantages of semi-permanent products while maintaining the effect of the treatment site for a long time," a company official said. "Following the launch of our hyaluronic acid filler Initium, which is suitable for specific site procedures, the launch of Hyalanse will strengthen our lineup and expand consumers' choice."
