Medibloc has launched Dr. Palette, a new cloud-based EMR system.

"Dr. Palette is a product that maximizes user convenience through mobile EMR linked to web EMR web, complete linkage with industrial complex servers, and automatic update of notices and functions," the company said. "As the system is a web-based cloud EMR that does not require a separate installation, there is no need for separate work for server construction, download, and update."

Also, as it supports both mobile apps and the web, it provides a flexible medical environment where physicians can check and write medical records anytime, anywhere, regardless of device, the company added.

According to Medibloc, some unique features of Dr. Palette include real-time health insurance and medical benefit qualification inquiry system, complete linkage of the corporation's server with drug utilization review (DUR), and a built-in clinical decision support system (CDSS) that assists in medical treatment.

The company also stressed that Dr. Palette provides a service that satisfies patients as it had linked Medipass. This patient-oriented healthcare app service allows patients to download medical records and file insurance claims within 10 seconds to the system.

"Dr. Palette has secured high accessibility through web-based cloud EMR, and mobile apps that do not require separate installation," Medibloc CEO Lee Eun-sol said. "It is a product that maximizes usability based on various feedbacks from medical professionals obtained through beta testing."
