Bukwang donates 150,000 tablets of pain relievers to hospital in Malawi

Bukwang Pharmaceutical said it has donated medical supplies to Daeyang Luke Hospital in Malawi, Africa, through Everservant, a local non-profit organization .

The donation includes 100,000 tablets of Tazenol 8-Hour Extended-Release and 50,000 tablets of Tazenol 500 mg, totaling 150,000 tablets. Tazenol’s active ingredient, acetaminophen, is effective in relieving fever and pain caused by colds, as well as headaches, neuralgia, and muscle pain.

Daeyang Luke Hospital is a 180-bed general hospital established by a Korean in 2008, with the goal to improve Malawi’s underdeveloped healthcare environment and provide medical care to impoverished and vulnerable patients.

Everservant supports healthcare and poverty alleviation efforts in Africa. The organization also works to foster mutual understanding and friendship between Korea and African nations through various initiatives.
