Medytox holds academic seminars for Ukrainian experts
Medytox said Thursday it hosted an academic seminar, “MED for Ukraine” (Medytox Expert Day for Ukraine), inviting Ukrainian experts.
Now in its third year, MED for Ukraine is an event where Ukrainian doctors and aesthetic professionals visit Medytox to share knowledge on the latest aesthetic trends and strengthen their networks. The seminar started on Monday and was attended by about 30 experts from the eastern European country.
On Tuesday, the participants toured Medytox's Osong Plant 2 and 3 to see the production sites. This was followed by a hands-on workshop to gain a better understanding of Medytox's toxin and filler products. Various programs, including a gala dinner, are scheduled during the event, which will conclude on Saturday, wrapping up the entire five-day and six-night schedule.
“We are grateful that so many professionals have shown a high level of interest in Medytox despite the current situation in Ukraine,” a Medytox official said. “We plan to develop this event into a regular academic exchange program to promote the excellence of Medytox's botulinum toxin and filler products and to exchange information on the latest treatment trends.”
The official added that as Ukraine is rapidly growing as an important emerging market for K-beauty, Medytox will continue to focus on expanding its market share through localized marketing activities and a wide range of products to provide more choices and expand its market share.
Medytox has supplied botulinum toxin products to the Ukrainian market since 2020 after obtaining a marketing license for Medytoxin (Neuronox in export name) in Ukraine. In addition, it has supplied the hyaluronic acid filler Neuramis since 2017 in collaboration with its local partner, EMET.
In August, Osong Plant 3 was approved as Neuramis's new manufacturing site, laying the foundation for mass production and export to Ukraine’s neighboring countries in eastern Europe.
