Lunit said on Thursday that it has secured a contract with Cloud Solutions, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s largest private healthcare provider, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (HMG), marking the second major partnership between the two parties.

The agreement will deploy Lunit’s AI-powered chest X-ray analysis solution, Lunit INSIGHT CXR, to analyze approximately 1 million chest X-ray images over the next three years. The goal is to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in identifying critical chest conditions such as lung cancer, tuberculosis, and pneumonia.

This deal builds on the success of Lunit’s initial collaboration with HMG in 2023, a partnership that helped prove the clinical efficacy of Lunit’s AI tools in reducing healthcare professionals’ workloads and improving diagnostic precision. “After seeing the tangible benefits in clinical workflows and diagnostic outcomes, HMG chose to expand its use of our solutions,” said a Lunit spokesperson.

Lunit’s latest move further cements its position in the Saudi healthcare market, following its involvement in Saudi Arabia’s "Vision 2030" initiative. Last year, the company participated in the “SEHA Virtual Hospital” project, and now, with this contract, Lunit strengthens its foothold as the region accelerates its digital health transformation.
