Dong-A ST has launched its remote patient monitoring platform HiCardi+ in Brazil, marking its entry into the Latin American digital health market.

The company introduced the system at SOCESP 2025, Brazil’s largest cardiology conference, taking place from Thursday to Saturday in São Paulo.

Dong-A ST debuts HiCardi+ in Brazil through Cardio Web partnership at SOCESP 2025.

HiCardi+ pairs a wearable patch with a smartphone to continuously track electrocardiogram, heart rate, skin temperature, and respiration. Clinicians can access patient data remotely through the companion software Live Studio, which runs on a computer interface.

HiCardi+ was cleared by Brazil’s health regulatory agency Anvisa in February, following an exclusive distribution deal signed last year with São Paulo-based Cardio Web, a company specializing in cardiac diagnostics and telemedicine. Cardio Web operates a nationwide sales network across Brazilian medical institutions.

“Launching in Brazil marks a key entry point into the Latin American market, and we plan to roll out HiCardi+ across the region, starting with Brazil,” the company said in Friday’s release.

Brazil’s digital health market is projected to grow from $6.4 billion in 2024 to $21.9 billion by 2030, according to Grand View Research. Across Latin America, the sector is expected to rise from $17 billion to $58.8 billion over the same period.
