OliX hires Ko Han-seok to strengthen global operations
OliX Pharmaceuticals said Friday that it has recruited Ko Han-seok, a U.S. attorney who has worked on numerous big deals in M&A and venture capital in Silicon Valley and New York, as director of business strategy.
The appointment is a strategic decision to strengthen the company's ability to enter into global partnerships and attract international investment, it added.
Ko graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in political science and earned his J.D. and MBA from Northwestern University School of Law. Ko practiced at Fenwick & West LLP, a large U.S. law firm, where he led over 50 venture investment deals for startups, including raising venture capital for several biotech companies.
In his new role, Ko will be responsible for establishing strategic partnership agreements with global pharmaceutical companies, attracting overseas venture capital investments, and strategizing the development of overseas subsidiaries.
“Director Ko's rich global deal experience and strategic capabilities are expected to create strong synergies in our global business expansion, which includes technology transfer agreements with global pharmaceutical companies, strategic partnerships, and investment attraction,” OliX Pharmaceuticals CEO Lee Dong-ki said.
