GHMC expands APAC footprint with addition of Korea-based agency PR Bom
Global Health Marketing & Communications (GHMC), the world’s largest independent healthcare communications network, has announced the addition of PR Bom, a Seoul-based healthcare PR firm, as its exclusive partner in Korea.
The move strengthens GHMC’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region while enhancing its ability to navigate one of the world’s most regulated and strategically critical healthcare markets.
“PR Bom is an exciting and highly relevant addition to the GHMC network, offering unparalleled insight into Korea’s unique healthcare communications landscape,” GHMC Global Managing Director Claire Eldridge said. “Their proven expertise and innovative approach will bring tremendous value to our clients operating in or entering the Korean market.”
As GHMC’s exclusive representative in Korea, PR Bom will contribute specialized capabilities in corporate and brand communications, crisis and issues management, and digital engagement.
The agency is also active in digital storytelling, producing multimedia content for platforms such as YouTube to meet the growing demand for online engagement.
“We are honored to join the GHMC network as the exclusive partner representing Korea,” PR Bom CEO Jeon Eun-jeong said. “This partnership marks a meaningful step in expanding our business across Asia and globally.”
Through this collaboration, PR Bom aims to offer a broader range of healthcare marketing and communications services, while also providing more strategic solutions to support Korean companies seeking to enter international markets, Jeon added.
With the addition of PR Bom, GHMC now includes over 700 healthcare communications professionals across more than 60 countries.
In the Asia-Pacific region, PR Bom will collaborate with fellow GHMC partners Spurwing (Singapore), VIVA! (Australia), MediaMedic (India), and Elite PR (Taiwan) to deliver coordinated, insight-driven communications strategies for global healthcare clients.
Founded in 2015, PR Bom is known for its deep understanding of Korea’s unique healthcare environment, which includes a universal national health insurance system, a strict ban on direct-to-consumer advertising, and a multilayered reimbursement structure.
The agency has earned a reputation for its regulatory expertise and client-focused strategies, offering tailored solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.
