Established in October 2020, List Biotherapeutics plans to build a large-scale microbiome production facility in Fishers Life Science & Innovation Park located in Fishers City and create 210 new jobs.

Fishers City has provided the site for List Biotherapeutics’ microbiome production facility free of charge. In addition, it plans to grant 50 percent cuts in property tax for 15 years after the company completes the construction of its plant.

Besides, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. (IEDC) and local power companies promised additional support such as facility usage fee reduction and tax deductions.

Genome & Company is operating List Bio as a separate corporation, letting them attract new investments through independent operation while maximizing mutual synergy by utilizing the strengths of each company.

List Bio completed the Series A investment of $48.4 million from 13 investors in December and March.

“The company will accelerate the plant's completion as the Indiana state and Fisher City have promised various supports, such as the free acquisition of production facility sites, property tax reductions, and tax deductions,” List Bio CEO Cho Yong-wan said. “By completing a rapid process, high-productivity facility, we will effectively provide high-quality microbiome drugs to the world.”

Fishers City Mayor Scott Fadness vowed to provide continuous support.

“The City of Fishers will provide generous support so that Genome & Company and List Bio can become companies that affect people's lives around the world by completing production facilities,” Fadness said.
