Yoo joined Medtronic Korea as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2010 and was in charge of overall support and operations for the company, including finance and supply chain.

When Medtronic merged with Covidien in 2015, Yoo served as the Korean regional leader for the merger project and successfully led the merger operation.

Yoo moved on to lead the Korean APV (aortic, peripheral, and venous) and CRDN (coronary and renal denervation) business unit and the North Asia endo-venous (eV) business unit in 2017.

Most recently, he has been leading the entire Medtronic Korea marketing organization.

"It is a great honor to lead Medtronic's Korean offshoot, which has been striving to solve the most difficult health problems with the mission of 'Pain Relief, Health Restoration, and Life Extension' as its highest value for more than half a century," Yoo said.
