SK C&C said it will join hands with Microsoft Korea to accelerate the entry of its Medical Insight+ Brain Hemorrhage, an AI brain hemorrhage imaging medical solution, into the global market.

On Thursday, the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance into the global market for digital healthcare solutions and expand the industrial ecosystem together.

Under the accord, SK C&C's Medical Insight+ Brain Hemorrhage will be included in Microsoft's Azure for Healthcare platform Neuro-Radiology lineup as a strategic partner solution.

Medical Insight+ Brain Hemorrhage is an AI-based cerebral hemorrhage imaging medical solution that analyzes brain CT images within seconds and immediately informs physicians of the bleeding location and abnormality with over 98 percent accuracy.

According to  SK C&C, the software can detect even the smallest and minute bleeding that can be easily missed at the level of a professional neuro-head and neck radiologist.

Starting with Asia and Oceania, SK C&C will actively seek out various solutions suitable for the global healthcare market as well as the digital IT service market tailored to the medical field, SK C&C Healthcare Division Head Yoon Dong-june said.
