On Tuesday, the ministry held a ceremony to launch the “Team to promote support programs to help overseas advance of K-Health” at L Tower in Seocho-gu, southern Seoul.

Accordingly, the seven health- and welfare-related government agencies will push for K-Health overseas advance support programs to share Korea’s health and medical institutions and systems with Asian, African, and Latin American nations from 2024.

The seven organizations are KDCA, NHIS, Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA), the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare (KOHI), the Korea Social Security Information Service (SSIS), the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH), the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI).

“Based on support projects, we expect the team to lend forces for the overseas advance by Korean businesses and their products,” the ministry said.
