H·ROBOTICS, a robotics-based healthcare company that attracts the rehabilitation medical equipment industry’s attention, will showcase its flagship products at the K-HOSPITAL HEALTH TECH FAIR 2023 (KHF 2023), at COEX from Sept. 14 to 16.

The company said Friday that it would exhibit its two mainstay products, “Rebless” and “Rebless Planar,” at KHF 2023.

Rebless is a smart rehabilitation solution that enables rehabilitation exercises for four body joints -- elbows, knees, wrists, and ankles -- with one device. With the help of Rebless, patients can perform passive and active rehabilitation exercises in the hospital and at home.

Active exercises can be used as assists and resists, depending on the patient's muscle strength, helping paralyzed patients’ rehabilitation while managing the pain and muscle strength of elderly and severely ill patients.

It was selected for the government’s pilot purchase project for innovative products and was distributed to several public health centers. The company said these health centers provide various robotic rehabilitation programs using the solution to the satisfaction of users. Home rehabilitation services are also provided to patients through the Prume Foundation, which helps rehabilitate disabled people.

Besides, the company has been one of the most active in the rehabilitation robot industry in developing overseas markets, from North America to the Middle East, entering more than 20 countries with approvals from the U.S. FDA, CE, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It has won the Health & Wellness Innovation Award at the world's largest IT exhibition, CES, in 201 and 2022.

Rebless Planar, a Class-3 upper limb rehabilitation robot that has won certification from MFDS and FDA, helps patients with shoulder or elbow paralysis due to musculoskeletal and neurological abnormalities to rehabilitate and evaluate movement disorders. It is undergoing clinical trials at Asan Medical Center.

"Through Rebless and Rebless Planar, we will provide a wide range of rehabilitation medical services to patients and contribute to resolving medical blind spots," a company official said.

The two products of H·ROBOTICS will be available at Booth H12 in Hall D during KHF 2023 at COEX, southern Seoul, from Sept. 14-16.
