Hyundai Pharmaceutical said Tuesday that it has launched Complex Minoxyl Solution 240ml (minoxidil), a hair loss treatment containing vitamins and other scalp care ingredients.

Complex Minoxyl Solution is a product that adds two vitamin ingredients, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) and vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), which help relieve scalp problems, to Minoxyl Solution, an over-the-counter hair loss treatment containing minoxidil.

Complex Minoxyl Solution 240ml was launched by changing the package of four 60ml products to a single 240ml product, reflecting consumers' preference for large-size products.

Minoxidil, which is most commonly used as a hair loss medication, works to nourish hair by expanding peripheral blood vessels in the scalp, increasing blood flow in the skin, and activating hair root cells.

Pyridoxine hydrochloride is an ingredient that relieves seborrheic dermatitis by inhibiting excessive sebum secretion, while tocopheryl acetate has antioxidant properties and protects the scalp from oxygen-free radicals.

Complex Minoxyl Solution 240ml is composed of a spray that can be used for large areas and a diagonal comb-shaped cap that is easy to apply to local areas.

"Complex Minoxyl Solution has been receiving steady attention from customers who want to get hair loss treatment and scalp care at the same time," a Hyundai Pharmaceutical official said. "We have expanded our lineup to 60ml and 240ml products to increase customer satisfaction with a more economical and convenient use experience."
