Astellas Korea said Thursday it appointed Masujima Keita as its new chief executive officer. He will start working as the CEO of the company from the start of next month

Before his appointment, Keita served as the president of Astellas Thailand in 2010, vice president of Asia-Oceania business planning department in 2014, and vice president of marketing for Asia and Oceania in 2017.

“Masujima Keita has long been a leading player in Asia and has a high understanding of the Asian market,” the company said. “We expect that Keita will make a significant contribution to the growth of Astellas in the Korean market with his excellent business sense.”
