Heuron, a medical artificial intelligence company specializing in neurological diseases, said Monday that it signed a distribution agreement with Medhealth Informatics, a leading distributor of AI software in Thailand, in Bangkok on July 30.
Heuron Vice President Park Chan-ik and Medhealth Informatics General Manager Prasit Srisakulwan signed the contract.
Medhealth Informatics is a joint venture between Thai medical device distributor CMC Biotech and Thai GL, a large distributor specializing in medical AI software.
Under the agreement, Heuron and Medhealth Informatics will distribute and sell Heuron's stroke triage AI solution, Heuron StroCare Suite, MRI-based brain atrophy quantification solution, Heuron AD, and PET quantification solution, Heuron BrainPET, to hospitals in Thailand.
In the second half-year, the two companies will also work closely to achieve Thai certification for Heuron StroCare Suite, Heuron AD, and Heuron BrainPET.
"We are pleased to be able to distribute and sell Heuron's excellent software throughout Thailand with this agreement," Heuron CEO Shin Dong-hoon said. "We will continue to do our best to ensure that Heuron's solutions are actively used in Thailand and benefit more patients in the country."
