Takeda Korea announced on Thursday that Peter Trang has been appointed as the new head of Business Operations, a division responsible for analyzing corporate capabilities and setting goals from an enterprise-wide perspective.
Mr. Trang joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals Australia in 2016 as Business Insights Manager. He then moved to the Growth & Emerging Markets Business Unit (BU), which oversees operations in more than 30 countries, including Australia, and developed geographic, commercial, and long-term strategies, including post-merger strategies, as well as strategic direction and guidance for each franchise. His efforts helped Takeda build a differentiated portfolio and contributed to the double-digit growth of the Growth & Emerging Markets BU countries.
With Trang’s global experience, Takeda Korea's Business Operations will continue to focus on enterprise-wide business planning, performance management, evaluation, addressing management issues, and resource management. Additionally, it will work on securing a sustainable pipeline to enhance Korea's contribution to Takeda's global presence across more than 80 countries, the company said.
Lee Se-hee, who has been leading both Business Operations and the Data, Digital & Technology at Takeda Korea, will continue to spearhead digital transformation efforts, the company added.
