Organon Korea announced that its Sales and Customers Lead Oh So-yun has been appointed as the new Country Lead for Organon Malaysia, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
“With over 26 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Oh has played a pivotal role in the growth of Organon Korea since its inception,” the company said. “As the head of the sales division, Oh has driven the company’s expansion, particularly by strengthening leadership in chronic disease management and rapidly solidifying its position in the women’s health sector.”
Oh’s efforts have been instrumental in stabilizing operations and building a robust foundation for the company’s sustained growth, it added.
Oh has overseen the successful management of key products such as Atozet, Propecia, Singulair, Vytorin, and Cozaar, implementing strategic initiatives to maximize profitability and expand the portfolio.
“Her leadership in managing a sales team of over 150 members has been widely recognized, contributing significantly to organizational growth and development,” the company said.
In her new role as the Country Lead for Organon Malaysia, Oh is expected to leverage her extensive experience and leadership capabilities to collaborate with the Malaysian team and drive further achievements.
Meanwhile, before joining Organon Korea, Oh held various leadership positions at MSD Korea, including Primary Care (PC) Division Director, which focused on chronic disease therapies, and Diversified Brands (DV) Division Director, covering therapeutic areas such as respiratory, dermatology, and urology.
