Boryung Consumer Healthcare said it has appointed Seo Jung-woog as its new CEO following a recent shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting.

Born in 1977, Seo brings extensive experience in sales planning, management, and marketing, having worked at major pharmaceutical companies, including Hanmi Pharma, Korea United Pharm, and Dongkoo Bio&Pharma since 2002.

Since joining Dongkoo Bio&Pharma in 2014, Seo served as head of the strategic sales division, where he was recognized for his achievements in efficient sales management and strategic marketing. His leadership earned him the position of CEO at C&Wise, a Dongkoo Bio&Pharma subsidiary, which he held from 2022 until recently.

"I will dedicate myself to developing and supplying essential products based on differentiated branding to promote healthy lifestyles for our customers,” Seo said.

Boryung Consumer Healthcare, a subsidiary of Boryung Corp., is a healthcare-focused company offering a wide range of products, including over-the-counter medicines, health supplements, medical devices, and sanitary goods.
