Huons Group held a ceremony Friday at its headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to commemorate the company’s 60th anniversary and unveil a long-term vision aimed at becoming a 100-year sustainable global healthcare company.

Chairman Yoon Sung-tae delivered congratulatory remarks during the event, attended by Huons Group employees, stakeholders from affiliated organizations, and members of the regional community. The celebration included congratulatory messages from prominent figures and a sand art performance commemorating Huons Group’s contributions to the healthcare industry.

The event also featured a vision declaration ceremony centered around the company’s philosophy: “We are a global total healthcare group that presents medical solutions for human health.”

Huons Global CEO Song Soo-young introduced the group’s new strategic direction, which focuses on three key pillars: strengthening future growth drivers based on research and development, fostering a globally standardized corporate culture, and practicing sustainable environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management.

Yoon and senior executives from Huons subsidiaries presented the group’s new vision statement and pledged to lead its future by mobilizing the collective capabilities of all affiliated companies.

“There have been ups and downs in the past, and Huons Group could not have lasted 60 years without our employees’ passion and hard work, and the trust of our customers and community,” Chairman Yoon said. “In the next 60 years, we expect to leap forward as a global healthcare company beyond the domestic market.”

He added, “We will make our best efforts to develop innovative new drugs to strengthen our global presence, contribute to society, and improve people’s lives. Reflecting on the significance of the 60th anniversary, we will further pursue our larger goal of becoming a sustainable 100-year-old company.”

Founded in 1965 as Kwang Myung Pharm by the late Emeritus Chairman Dongam Yoon Myeong Yong, Huons Group has expanded into 13 subsidiaries under its holding company, Huons Global. The group operates across the healthcare spectrum, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aesthetics, and health functional foods.

Currently, Huons Group is focusing on global market expansion and research and development to secure future growth engines and establish leadership in the global pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
