365mc has completed liposuction procedure training for medical professionals working in its U.S. offshoot in Los Angeles, which is set to open soon. The American medical workers traveled to Korea to learn liposuction techniques and hospital management systems.
365mc announced on Thursday that it held the “Global Directors’ Academic Seminar & U.S. Medical Staff Training Completion Ceremony” at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul last Friday. Attendees included Dr. Angie Trias Sanchez, Director of the 365mc LA branch opening this month, and Maria Samantha Reeson, a Nurse Practitioner and Co-Director, among other medical staff. Lia Ann Torres, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and Michael Dave Laison, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), were also present.
The U.S. medical staff observed procedures in various areas, including the abdomen, thighs, and face, as well as the “LAMS” (Lipo-Assisted Micro-Suction) procedure, a minimally invasive fat extraction injection technique developed in-house by 365mc. Educators included Dr. Kim Jung-eun, CEO of 365mc All New Gangnam Main Branch; Dr. Lee Geun-jik, Center Director; Dr. Ha Jun-hyung, Director of 365mc's Cheonho Branch; Dr. Kim Gyeong-han, Director of Yeongdeungpo Branch; and Dr. Lee Jae-jun, Director of Seoul 365mc Hospital.
Training also covered the entire system, including visiting customer management, hospital operations, and safety management. At the completion ceremony, the symbolic “orange gown” was presented.
“While I've experienced various obesity treatments and procedures in the U.S., learning LAMS—which encapsulates 365mc's 22 years of expertise—deeply impressed me with its precision, safety systems, and procedural effectiveness,” Director Sanchez said. “I truly understood why LAMS is creating a global sensation beyond Asia, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.”
Director Kim Jung-eun remarked, “This training confirmed K-LAMS's global competitiveness, as medical professionals from the U.S.—the world's leading provider of liposuction—came directly to Korea to learn.”
365mc is exploring expansion into major U.S. cities, including Seattle, New York, and Chicago, starting with its Los Angeles location in California. It also plans to collaborate with global pharmaceutical companies to develop next-generation fat reduction solutions.
