Hugel said Monday it has formed a strategic partnership with Brazilian aesthetics leader Derma Dream to accelerate its entry into Latin America’s largest market.
Derma Dream is recognized as one of Brazil’s leading medical aesthetics firms, equipped with a strong sales and marketing network. The company operates an independent academic and training organization, complete with its own education center and logistics hub, allowing it to deliver hands-on workshops and scientific events tailored to local practitioners.
Through the collaboration, Hugel and Derma Dream plan to strengthen their cooperation across sales, marketing, and education to build brand presence in Brazil, the world’s third-largest aesthetics market by country.
As an initial step, the partners held pre-launch events for Hugel’s botulinum toxin brand Letybo, marketed as Botulax in Korea, in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo on Sept. 4 and 5.
The back-to-back events introduced Letybo to Brazilian clinicians while also offering sessions on injection techniques, the latest clinical data, live Q&A exchanges, and networking programs.
The format was designed to deepen understanding of the product while building relationships with local experts.
In Rio de Janeiro, dermatologists formed the core audience, while the São Paulo event attracted dentists and biotech professionals. Doris Hexsel, a globally recognized dermatologist, joined Brazil-based medical expert Fabiano Magacho to share insights into the latest advancements in medical aesthetic treatments.
“We are delighted to showcase the competitiveness of Letybo in Brazil, one of the largest aesthetics markets worldwide, together with the country’s top-tier partner, Derma Dream,” a Hugel official said. “With differentiated product quality and robust academic and training programs, we aim to establish Letybo as a trusted premium botulinum toxin brand among both Brazilian professionals and consumers.”
