GC Genome held offline seminars in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia from Monday to Thursday last week, focusing on its multi-cancer early detection service, ai-CANCERCH, and establishing strategic partnerships with major regional institutions.
Participating in this collaboration were Bahrain's BioLab, Saudi Arabia's Advanced Cell Laboratory, and Genalive. Although these institutions had already signed contracts with GC Genome, this event formalized the cooperative relationships and further strengthened the company’s market position in the Middle East.
Key hospital representatives attended the Bahrain seminar, showing high interest in ai-CANCERCH. Notably, Bahrain's government hospital proposed that GC Genome make an official presentation at the upcoming “2025 Manama Health Congress & Expo” in December.
In Saudi Arabia, partnership events were held with Advanced Cell Laboratory, a molecular diagnostics specialist certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), and Genalive. Discussions focused on the local transfer and collaboration of GC Genome's advanced analytical technologies, including the ai-CANCERCH test. Furthermore, a strategic partnership was established with Genalive, which operates Saudi Arabia's largest genome and data center and is executing national projects, laying the groundwork for participation in the Saudi government's genome initiatives.
“The Middle East is a rapidly growing strategic hub in the global healthcare industry. The health screening market alone is projected to grow at a high annual rate of 11.5 percent, from $21.8 billion in 2025 to $43.2 billion in 2031,” GC Genome CEO Ki Chang-seok said. “Through this partnership, we will strengthen our local network and credibility, and accelerate the expansion of ai-CANCERCH into the Middle East market.”
