Boryung announced its selection as an “XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) Financial Disclosure Excellence Corporation,” a recognition highlighting its leadership in transparent financial reporting.

The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) selects XBRL Financial Disclosure Excellence Corporations after considering participation in the FSS XBRL pilot program and active involvement of accounting staff. These companies exemplify financial disclosure in accordance with international standards.

Boryung said it was recognised for its contributions, including enhancing information accessibility for Korean and international investors and advancing the internationalisation of the Korean capital market, by successfully implementing international-standard data-based financial disclosure starting with last year's business report.

Accounting practitioners from the awarded companies can participate in establishing guidelines and improving related systems concerning XBRL financial disclosure.

XBRL is an international standard computer language for financial reporting. It is designed to help create, report, and analyse complex and diverse corporate financial information. It enhances the accuracy and transparency of corporate, investor, and market oversight activities by converting information into data. The FSS has mandated a sequential adoption of XBRL for listed companies based on sales size since 2024.

“We have strengthened communication with shareholders and stakeholders by implementing internationally compliant disclosures,” Boryung's Chief Financial Officer Noh Jang-wook said. “We will continue to grow as a trusted company through financial innovation and transparent management.”
