Yonsei University Health System (YUHS) said Wednesday that FRIC, operated by Yonsei Medical Library, has received a rating of “Very Good (S)” for the 2024 project evaluation conducted by KERIS.

This rating recognizes the center’s achievements in acquiring and sharing academic publications and expanding service offerings. The Yonsei Medical Library also earned an S grade in the 2023 evaluation.

Designated as a support center for foreign clinical journals in 2009, the Yonsei Medical Library has secured access to 631 journals, including top-tier publications such as the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). It provides full-text copying services, offering free access to approximately 3.23 million articles.

FRIC is a national project supported by the Ministry of Education and managed by KERIS. Ten university libraries across the country have been designated to cover key academic areas such as clinical medicine, biotechnology, and more.
