Merz Korea said it has relocated its office building from Samseong-dong to the 13th and 14th floors of Cheongdam Square in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on Monday.
The new Merz office focuses on a safer and more pleasant working environment based on ESG and a smart office function that allows employees to collaborate with the head office anytime, anywhere.
Notably, after collecting and reflecting on employees' opinions before relocating, the company stressed that the entire office building, from individual office spaces and resting areas, was organized around employees.
The company will no longer provide disposable items in the cafeteria and stock individual mugs.
All employees will also participate in activities to protect the environment by eliminating individual trash cans in the office and disposing of garbage only in designated areas.
“Thanks to all the executives and employees who did their best in unison, we were able to relocate our new office building to Cheongdam, the hub of Korea’s aesthetics industry,” Merz Korea CEO Yoo Soo-yeon said.
As this relocation focused on building an environment where executives and employees can communicate more efficiently, Yoo stressed that she expects Merz’s aesthetic leadership will be further strengthened.
