Dong-A Pharmaceutical said Tuesday that it has launched a seven-day supply of Orthomol Vital M (for men) and Orthomol Vital F (for women), premium vitamin supplements from German nutraceutical company Orthomol.

Orthomol Vital is a nutraceutical brand officially imported and sold in Korea by Dong-A Pharm from Orthomol since 2020, and 100 percent of its production, from raw materials to finished products, is done in Germany.

Dong-A Pharm has introduced a seven-day supply in addition to the existing 30-day supply to broaden consumers' choices.

A 30-day supply of Orthomol Vital M and Orthomol Vital F was successfully launched in Korea in September last year.

The two products are formulated in consideration of the physiological characteristics of Korean men and women, applying Orthomol’s unique nutrition design method according to gender.

Orthomol Vital M contains biotin for men's health, zinc for normal cell division, and vitamin B6 for protein utilization.

Orthomol Vital F is fortified with calcium to help build bones and teeth reduce the risk of osteoporosis in women, and iron for blood production.

Both products contain eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) to help improve blood circulation and magnesium to maintain nerve and muscle function, making it possible to take one bottle a day for simple and comprehensive health care, Dong-A Pharm said.

A Dong-A Pharm official said that the company hopes that many people will experience Orthomol Vital, which has differentiated nutrient formulations for men and women to meet their various lifestyles.
