CG Bio, a regenerative medicine company, said Wednesday that it has launched Easydew MD cream 200g, which strengthens the skin barrier.

The skin barrier is the outer layer of the skin that protects the skin from external threats such as infectious agents, chemicals, systemic toxins, and allergens.

Easydew MD is classified as a class 2 medical device managed under the good manufacturing practice (GMP).

Also, unlike moisturizing creams for general skin care, Easydew MD is a wound care cream used to protect areas where the skin barrier is damaged, such as minor burns, atopy, and dry skin.

Atopic dermatitis is a chronic skin disease that requires long-term treatment, and because it occurs in the whole body, plenty of moisturizer is needed to strengthen the skin's barrier.

Especially in winter, as the skin dries out rapidly in the cold weather, there have been demands for a larger size product that can be applied without worrying about the amount.

In response, CG Bio has introduced a new cream with an amount of 200g, which is about 2.4 times larger than the existing 85g product.

Easydew MD 200g has the same ingredients as the existing 85g product, and when applied to areas where the skin barrier is broken, it forms a physical film to maintain high moisturization and protect the skin barrier.

Also, it contains various skin moisturizing ingredients such as squalane, vitamin E, sodium hyaluronate, and linolenic acid for strengthening the skin barrier, CG Bio said.

"Easydew MD cream is managed according to GMP standards, which ensures the quality and safety of the product," said a CG Bio official. "The 200g version of Easydew MD cream is not only effective but also user-friendly."
