The technology demonstration was conducted with Praram 9 Hospital, a tertiary general hospital in Bangkok, to review the service performance of Dr. Call Thai.

LifeSemantics developed a full platform for locally customized non-face-to-face medical care for Dr.Call Thai. They signed a technology demonstration agreement with Praram 9 Hospital last October. Technology demonstration implements technology performance and confirms facts before introducing new technology.

LifeSemantics said that this demonstration has significantly improved the service stability and convenience for local medical staff and patients to use Dr.Call Thai smoothly.

In addition, the service is equipped with an information security management system (ISO27001) certification required for telemedicine in Thailand.

It is linked to the mobile messenger LINE, which 90 percent of mobile users in Thailand use. It can be used as a one-stop shop from reservation to treatment to medicine delivery without downloading a separate application.

"During the trial period, we felt that patients' acceptance and need for Dr. Call Thai was high," said a medical worker at Dr. Rama 9 Hospital. "We expect the non-face-to-face service will solve many of their problems by shortening the waiting time and prescription process."

LifeSemantics will sign a memorandum of understanding with Rama 9 Hospital to use Dr.Call Thai by March. In addition, the company plans to supply Dr. Call Tie to 100 local medical institutions in the next three years.

"Thailand's digital healthcare market valued at 1.4 trillion won ($1.05 billion) continues to grow, and the non-face-to-face medical treatment market accounts for 120 billion won," said Ahn Si-hoon, head of SX (Solution Experience) Division at LifeSemantics.

Ahn added that with the successful completion of this technology demonstration, the company would quickly sign contracts with various medical institutions in Thailand following the signing of the main contract with Rama 9 Hospital to establish itself as a representative service in the Southeast Asian country.
