The Carestation 600 series V2 is a compact gas anesthesia machine designed for efficient use in narrow operating rooms. It automatically calculates the ideal "predicted body weight" based on a patient's height, providing a personalized anesthesia approach.

The system also calculates driving pressure in real-time to ensure proper ventilation support and prevent excessive pressure.

”By using height to determine predicted body weight, the system more accurately adjusts tidal volume based on lung size, improving treatment accuracy,” explained a company official. This feature is applicable to both adults and children, regardless of gender.

Kim Yong-duk, CEO of GE HealthCare Korea, emphasized that the Carestation 600 series V2 optimizes patient safety and workflow efficiency with its compact, ergonomic design, supporting key priorities in the operating room.
