ECR is Europe's largest medical imaging conference and exhibition. This year's event will be held under the theme "The World of Radiology," focusing on the influence of radiology on global healthcare.

Samsung plans to present its latest advancements with a booth that is over 10 percent larger than last year’s. The company will highlight specialized diagnostic imaging solutions tailored for different medical disciplines, as well as its efforts in sustainable and eco-friendly healthcare technology.

In the "Pediatric Integrated Solution Zone," Samsung will introduce ultrasound devices designed with child-friendly aesthetics, pediatric-specific miniature probes, and mobile CT systems that offer high portability—particularly useful for diagnosing young patients with limited mobility.

The X-ray zone will feature Samsung’s latest floor-mounted X-ray system, the GF85, making its European market debut. Other flagship products such as the GC85A, a key player in the European market, and the GM85, a mobile X-ray unit, will also be showcased.

In the CT department, Samsung will unveil the OmniTom Elite PCD, a photon-counting detector (PCD)-based CT scanner. This device offers higher resolution and reduced noise compared to traditional CT scanners using scintillator-based technology.

Samsung’s commitment to sustainability will also be on display, with a focus on energy efficiency in medical imaging. The company will showcase its S-Hub system, which allows multiple ultrasound machines to be remotely controlled, optimizing power consumption and reducing carbon emissions.

"Samsung continues to innovate with specialized imaging solutions to improve global healthcare,” Samsung Electronics HME Business GM and Samsung Medison CEO Yoo Kyu-tae said. “At the same time, we remain committed to reducing our carbon footprint through sustainable technology development."
