Prominent Korean AI medical imaging firms, including Lunit, VUNO, Medical IP, and Coreline Soft, unveiled their key products at the 2023 Korea Clinical Radiology (KCR) conference.

The conference is held at COEX, Seoul, from Wednesday to Friday.

Lunit showcased all of its Ministry of Food and Drug Safety-approved solutions at the conference.

At the booth, visitors could get firsthand experience of Lunit's various platforms, including Lunit INSIGHT CXR (chest X-ray image analysis solution) and Lunit INSIGHT MMG (breast cancer screening solution).

"If there is a difference from last year's, we are focused on advertising new features and updated software compared to our previous version," said Harris Lee, director of business development for Lunit in Korea. "Our ultimate objective is to triumph over cancer with the help of AI, and we are steadfastly committed to this journey, and we will make this clear throughout the conference.

VUNO is set to display four medical AI solutions at KCR 2023.

Exhibits include VUNO Med-BoneAge, VUNO Med-Lung CT AI, VUNO Med-Chest X-ray, and VUNO Med-DeepBrain.

Each AI-powered medical device is designed to provide optimal workflow for radiologists, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.

During the exhibition, VUNO will share each product's diverse clinical applications and significant research findings.

Furthermore, they will provide in-depth explanations about the updated VUNO Med-BoneAge and VUNO Med-Chest X-ray, reflecting feedback from clinical users.

The event will also highlight the clinical value of VUNO Med-DeepBrain and VUNO Med-Lung CT AI.

"With our medical imaging products observing a steady rise in sales this year, we aim to further our engagements with potential customers at KCR 2023," VUNO CEO Lee Ye-ha said. "Looking forward to the second half of this year, we anticipate positive results from overseas, especially as we target U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for VUNO Med-DeepBrain and launch VUNO Med-Lung CT AI in the Japanese market."

VUNO will continuously strive to aid doctors in achieving more efficient diagnoses, Lee added.

Medical IP also took the stage at KCR 2023, unveiling a range of dynamic medical AI digital twin solutions.

Their offerings include MEDIP PRO (medical image analysis and digital twin software), DeepCatch (body composition auto-analysis software), and TiSepX (X-ray 3D analysis platform).

Notably, the company unveiled DeepCatch MR, which extends the auto-analysis capabilities of DeepCatch by analyzing muscles, bones, subcutaneous fat, and visceral fat from whole-body CT scans to MR images for the first time.

"By converging cutting-edge technology and medical imaging data, we are transforming the traditional 2D monochrome medical images into 3D color visuals, adding unprecedented value to radiology," Medical IP CEO Park Sang-joon said. "We will continue to unveil solutions that allow doctors and patients alike to easily and accurately understand human anatomy."

Freshly listed on the Kosdaq market on Monday, Coreline Soft presented its concurrent chest disease diagnosis solution, AVIEW LCS PLUS, while also holding a small event celebrating its listing.

Aside from AVIEW LCS PLUS, the company introduced a variety of products, including AVIEW Lung Texture (interstitial lung disease auto and quantitative analysis), AVIEW Modeler (3D printing and body partitioning), and AVIEW Research (integrated research solution based on medical images).

The company will also provide detailed consultations for attendees interested in utilizing their products.

Other key players like Claripi, Deepnoid, among others, have also set up booths, showcasing a variety of innovative AI solutions for the medical industry.
