Prestige Biopharma Group said its Kosdaq-listed Prestige Biopharma and Prestige Biologics, a biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), will participate in CPHI Worldwide 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, from Oct. 24-26, one of the world’s largest trade fairs for the pharmaceutical sector. 

Participating in CPHI for the second consecutive year, the group is aiming to concentrate on identifying potential global partners. Chairperson Lisa Soyeon Park is set to take an active role by personally engaging in meetings with clients during the exhibition.

CPHI gathered 2,500 companies and 40,000 visitors from more than 170 countries last year.

This year, Prestige Biopharma Group has organized a booth of 189 m².

Prestige Biopharma Group said it would continue discussions with several multinational pharmaceutical firms including Dr. Reddy’s with whom it signed an MOU for a production base in September, and Accord Healthcare, a company specializing in biosimilars.

At CPHI 2023, Prestige Biopharma Group will also unveil its new vision and goals as a "next-generation pharma and biotech company" for the first time.

Prestige Biopharma Group operates a complete value chain, comprising its headquarters, Prestige Biopharma in Singapore, overseeing clinical and drug approval management; the Innovative Discovery Center in Busan, responsible for product development; and Prestige Biologics, a CDMO in Osong, North Chungcheong Province.

Prestige Biopharma Group established a sales team in May last year. 

Through business meetings and briefings in Barcelona, the group will announce its future strategies, including sales goals and factory operation plans as a next-generation pharma and biotech company.
