Galderma Korea Ltd. announced the launch of two new products under its skincare brand Cetaphil, introducing the SA Line designed specifically for gentle exfoliation and care of sensitive skin. The new line aims to help individuals manage rough texture and uneven tone without compromising the skin barrier -- offering a clinically tested solution for everyday use.
The Cetaphil SA Line features two new products -- Gentle Exfoliating SA Cleanser and Gentle Exfoliating SA Lotion. Developed for both the face and body, the products combine mild exfoliating agents with hydrating ingredients, allowing even those with highly reactive or sensitive skin to maintain smooth, healthy skin texture through regular exfoliation.
Sensitive skin is often prone to barrier dysfunction, making it more susceptible to external irritation and ineffective natural exfoliation. This can lead to the buildup of dead skin cells, resulting in a dull, rough appearance and recurring breakouts.
Galderma’s new formulation addresses these concerns with a synergistic blend of triple-action exfoliants targeting surface and pore-level debris while respecting the skin’s natural pH.
The SA Cleanser offers a mild, non-stripping cleanse using an acid-balanced formula that has demonstrated a 67 percent reduction in surface keratin after a single use. After four weeks of continuous use, study participants saw a 21 percent improvement in the bumpy, uneven texture. The cleanser is also non-comedogenic and suitable for acne-prone areas such as the back and chest.
Complementing the cleanser, the SA Lotion provides exfoliation and deep hydration in a single step. Enriched with glycerin and panthenol, the lotion helps calm post-exfoliation sensitivity and supports skin barrier recovery.
The light, non-sticky formula is suitable for daily use on the face as well as body areas prone to keratosis pilaris, including the arms and legs.
Both products maintain a mildly acidic pH similar to healthy skin and have passed extensive clinical testing on sensitive skin populations to ensure safety and efficacy.
According to Galderma Korea’s Brand Manager Min Hye-jin, the line was developed with the goal of giving sensitive-skin consumers a “worry-free” option for regular exfoliation.
“The Cetaphil SA Line is designed to deliver visible improvements in skin texture while minimizing irritation, so that even those with sensitive skin can incorporate daily exfoliation with confidence,” Min said. “Cetaphil will continue listening to the unique skincare concerns of each individual and deliver trustworthy dermatological solutions that truly make a difference.”
The new products are now available in Korea through major online and offline retailers.
