Iope, Amorepacific’s high-performance skincare brand, announced the launch of its latest innovation, the Retinol Reti-jection Serum, designed to deliver visible skin improvements in elasticity, wrinkles, and pores from the very first use.
The new serum encapsulates retinol within three million spicules -- microneedle-like carriers that maximize skin penetration of active ingredients. By enhancing retinol delivery deep into the skin, the formula provides elasticity benefits comparable to professional collagen booster treatments, with immediate improvements observed after a single application.
In a direct human application test comparing the serum to collagen booster special care, the product demonstrated superior performance, with elasticity improving by 49 percent, wrinkle reduction by 83 percent, and skin radiance by 88 percent, setting a new benchmark for high-efficacy skincare.
The Retinol Reti-jection Serum contains 2 percent of Iope’s proprietary Retinol RX, formulated to deliver active ingredients without degradation. Utilizing Amorepacific’s first technology to embed retinol at the center of spicules, the serum ensures ingredient penetration begins from within the skin.
Clinical data showed that it reaches the dermis 46 percent faster and deeper than conventional formulations, boosting collagen production and enhancing skin resilience.
Despite its high potency, the formula incorporates a low-irritation spicule design to balance effectiveness and safety, addressing common concerns around retinol-based products.
Iope’s Retinol Reti-jection Serum debuted Monday through Amore Mall and Naver Brand Store, followed by a nationwide rollout in September across Aritaum, major supermarkets, and Olive Young outlets. The 50 ml serum is currently priced at 71,280 won ($51.42) on the brand’s official online mall.
