CancerX released the solutions catalog, a guide to digital solutions for cancer diagnosis and treatment for healthcare organizations across the U.S. on Friday, featuring Lunit as the first of 14 companies participating in the project.

The solutions catalog is the first concrete project announced by CancerX, focusing on a digital transformation strategy to improve access to cancer care and reduce the financial burden on patients.

The solutions catalog is divided into three areas -- Screening/Diagnosis, Treatment/End of Life Care, and Survivorship -- to guide U.S. healthcare organizations in leveraging available digital products and solutions in each area.

As a result of the project, healthcare organizations across the U.S. will have immediate access to digital cancer diagnostics and treatment solutions from the 14 companies featured in the solution catalog.

Lunit will specifically provide its Lunit INSIGHT suite in the cancer diagnostics area of the solution catalog, contributing to the U.S. government's project to conquer cancer through early diagnosis of lung and breast cancer.

"The harsh reality is that nearly half of all cancer patients in the US exhaust their life savings on treatment. This is an immense burden that patients have to bear," said Brandon Suh, CEO of Lunit. "As a founding member of CancerX, we are excited to have the opportunity to contribute to addressing financial toxicity and ensuring access to quality care for all. By leveraging our AI-powered solutions, we aim to bring about positive changes for patients and healthcare institutions as we tackle this challenge head-on.”

Lunit joined the CancerX initiative as a founding member in June and has been actively involved since the first official meeting in early September.
