Lunit Insight CXR is software that utilizes AI-based technology to assist medical professionals by reading 10 chest diseases, such as lung nodules, lung hardening, and pneumothorax.

The five hospitals include the National Guard Hospital Riyadh, King Abdulaziz Medical City, Security Forces Hospital, Al Takhassusi Hospital, and Al Moosa Specialist Hospital.

According to Lunit, this partnership is an extension of the company's recent collaborations in Saudi Arabia, including its participation in the Saudi Vision 2030 Healthcare Sandbox with Seha Virtual Hospital and its partnership with Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group.

"Our ongoing collaborations with esteemed institutions such as Seha Virtual Hospital and Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group have already set a strong foundation for Lunit in Saudi Arabia, the largest medical market in the Gulf Cooperation Council," Lunit CEO Suh Beom-seok (Brandon Suh) said. "As we continue to forge new partnerships and strengthen existing ones, we are excited about the immense potential of the Middle East medical imaging market."

The Middle East medical imaging market is rapidly evolving, driven by the adoption of advanced technologies and a growing focus on improving patient outcomes and Lunit's AI-powered solutions are well-positioned to contribute significantly to this transformation, Suh added.

Meanwhile, government officials from Middle Eastern countries have also shown strong interest in Lunit with Sami Bin Ibrahim Al-Hussaini, head of Saudi Arabian Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, and H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), recently visiting Lunit's headquarters in Seoul, Korea, on separate occasions.

During their stay, Lunit held discussions on various collaboration opportunities, and both dignitaries explored the future of medical AI in their respective countries using Lunit's AI solution.
