Philips Korea announced Monday the appointment of Choi Nak-hoon as its new country manager.
In addition to this role, Choi will serve as leader of "Health Systems District Sales" unit of the company.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate management, Choi has held key positions in marketing, sales, management consulting, and business operations at global healthcare companies such as Varian Medical Systems, Medtronic, and Samsung Medison.
His career also includes roles in consumer electronics and consulting at Sony, Samsung Electronics, and AT Kearney. Philips Korea added that Choi has worked across Korea, China, Japan, and Singapore, gaining diverse market insights.
Most recently, Choi served as country head of Varian Medical Systems Korea.
In 2015, he managed emerging markets in Southeast Asia and served as Sales Head for Greater China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, at Samsung Medison.
